London is far enough from the Greater Toronto Area that its market runs on its own timeline. It's home to Western University and a regional hospital and business base, and prices there haven't tracked the GTA the way closer commuter towns have.
I work with London clients less often than those in Waterloo Region, so I'm upfront about bringing in a local resource for anything hyper-specific, like street-level school catchments, while still handling the negotiation and process end to end.
Highway 401 runs directly through London, making it a natural stop between Toronto and Windsor. Local transit is run by the London Transit Commission and covers most of the city.
Western University anchors a large student rental market in the north end, while the rest of the city has a broad mix of family homes, from older character streets closer to downtown to newer subdivisions further out.
London has an extensive river valley trail system along the Thames, and a downtown core that's seen a fair amount of reinvestment in recent years.
Clients relocating between London and Waterloo Region, and anyone looking for a market where prices haven't tracked the GTA as closely.
Buying, selling, or just weighing your options in London, reach out and I'll give you a straight answer.
